A 42-year-old man and a 37-year-old woman, have been remanded in custody for the alleged murder of a 20-year-old man in Tovata.
They are accused of assaulting the victim at a residence in Tovata on May 29. The victim passed away on July 2 while being treated at CWM Hospital.
Both accused appeared before a magistrates court in Nasinu last week, and they were both remanded.
The 42-year-old man was remanded in police custody until July 10, while the second accused was remanded at the Suva Women Remand Centre until July 14.
