“Only 2 sports have qualified on merit and that is rugby 7s and sailing.” Sorovaki said.
“Sports that are hoping to qualify are weightlifting, boxing, archery, judo, tennis, athletics and swimming. For some of these sports some are going through Olympic qualifications and some are having theirs in the coming months, hoping to qualify for the 2024 Olympics.”
Fiji Swimming President Ben Rova told Mai TV today that there are several qualifying tournaments that their swimmers will be at beginning with the World Aquatics Championships in Doha, Qatar next week.

There are two other championships well before the Olympics which we are hoping to send our swimmers to, as they are also Olympics qualifying ones also,” Rova said.
