An Under-18 category will be introduced in this year’s Fiji Bitter Marist 7s, promising a bigger turnout.
Amongst new inclusion into this year’s edition is the England Royal Navy team.
Fiji Bitter today also announced their sponsorship and support for the tournament scheduled for March 21-23.
“As usual the Marist 7s will not disappoint. It’s going to offer one of the best competitions to cap off the Fiji Bitter 7s series altogether,” Marist Rugby Club President Lawrence Tikaram said of the 48th Marist 7s tournament.
General Manager of Paradise Beverages Mike Spencer said they were proud to be associated with a prestigious club.

The tournament will also feature a special plan to involve teams in community awareness work with groups like WOWS Kids, during the off season period.
“Plans in place for off season initiatives for the clubs which includes tree planting and mangrove rehabilitation programs demonstrating a commitment to environmental stewardship and community resilience.”
