Game Against the Waratahs Still On: Fijian Drua

The Swire Shipping Fijian Drua game against the Waratahs will go ahead this Saturday.

Fijian Drua Head of Commercial & Marketing Manager Shane Hussein said Lautoka’s Churchill Park is in good condition and it also has sufficient drainage.

The current weather is expected to ease by Friday.

The Fijian Drua is optimistic that they will have a good outing against the NSW Waratahs.

Head Coach Mick Byrne says that they have worked on areas they identified after last weekend’s game against the Gallagher Chiefs in Hamilton.

“We’ve looked at what needs to be done and ever since we’ve been back training has been going well. There are no injuries except for some abrasions but nothing serious. Isoa Nasilasila still has a few weeks out with his ankle injury and doing well at rehab.”

“The boys have been going hard at training since Monday and they’re looking forward to the game on Saturday.”

The team go head to head against the Waratahs at 1.05pm followed by the Rooster Chicken Fijian Drua against the ladies from Waratahs at 3.35pm.
