The Fiji Roads Authority (FRA) has announced the closure of Nasau Bridge 2 in Nadi due to significant structural issues.
The bridge has become inaccessible following the collapse of its abutment and deck, prompting emergency repair works that are expected to take up to one month to complete.
Road closure advisory signs have been placed to guide motorists towards alternative routes.
Motorists are also urged to plan their travel accordingly and exercise caution while navigating the alternative route, with FRA emphasising the importance of adhering to traffic regulations and cooperating with authorities during this period of repair and restoration.
