ADRA Fiji donates PPEs to Health Ministry

The Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) Fiji handed over 200 PPE packs to the Ministry of Health today to support Government’s COVID-19 response.

Receiving the package from ADRA Finance Director Bou Mawi, Minister for Health Dr Ifereimi Waqainabete thanked the organisation for their continued support.

This was made possible via ADRA’s COVID-19 Operations Fiji (COF) project, under which 100 beds were also provided to the ministry this year.

The beds are being used in COVID-19 care facilities in the central division.

Mawi said ADRA Fiji’s COF Project also assists in the provision of daily necessities including food rations to more than 2000 households.

The project is jointly funded by ADRA Global network, LDS Charities, World Vision NZ and TearFund NZ.
