Fiji’s second round of the nationwide voter registration and awareness drive closes tomorrow and the Supervisor of Elections Mohammed Saneem is calling on members of the public, who have not already done so, to register and/or update their details and cards.
Venues, he said have been publicised, urging people to take advantage of the opportunity.
“Our teams will be present in many hotspot locations in towns and cities. and we are hoping that Fijians take as much advantage as possible of the very last day of the voter registration drive and upgrade to the latest voter card or update their details,” Mr Saneem said.
As of 30 June 2022, the total number of registered voters stands at 686,076. Of the registered voters, 18.06 percent are still holding on to their green-colored VoterCards.
Voter registration will stop when the writ of election is issued.
