World Rugby has confirmed the locations for the next three women’s and two men’s Rugby World Cups, with England and Australia hosting the next women’s and men’s editions respectively.
The announcement is part of efforts by World Rugby to accelerate global development and growth.
England will host the 2025 women’s RWC which according to World Rugby will expand to 16 teams, allowing for more teams to compete. The next women’s edition in 2029 will be hosted by Australia which has also been confirmed as the host of the 2027 men’s world cup.
USA also gets to host two world cup events, the 2031 men’s and 2033 women’s RWC.
