WAF Assesses Savura Pipeline Damage, Repairs Soon

The Water Authority of Fiji (WAF) has assessed damages to the DN600 raw water trunk main along Savura Road and repairs are set to begin soon, with completion expected by the weekend, weather permitting.

In a statement, WAF COO Seru Soderberg said that they are prioritising supply to the Colonial War Memorial (CWM) Hospital and deploying water tankers to affected areas.

Customers are urged to contact WAF customer hub for assistance.

The Fiji Roads Authority (FRA) will stabilize the area, allowing WAF to switch over to an undamaged pipe, although supply will remain below normal levels.
