Fijian authorities are looking into elements of negligence after the body of a 2-year-old child was found floating in a swimming pool at a resort in Sigatoka.
Fiji Police said the child was allegedly left unattended.
The national drowning toll stands at 11 compared to 16 for the same period last year.
