Thirteen in Court To Answer to $2Billion+ Related Methamphetamine Seizure Charges

Former Fiji national Justin Ho is among 13 people facing charges in connection with the Nadi meth seizure case alongside David Otto Heritage, Louie Frank Logaivau, Issac Lesiyanawai, Ratu Aporosa Davelevu, Sakiusa Tuva, Iosefo Roqica, Maika Yabakivou, Ratu Osea Levula, Cathy Tuirabe, Nancy Mateyawa, Jale Aukerea, and Keanie Mcpherson.

Ho, aged 32, is accused of unlawful importation and possession of 4.8 tonnes of methamphetamines. Additionally, he faces charges of possessing proceeds of crime in the form of cash in various currencies, including FJD21,691.60, AUD450.00, and USD100.00.

David Otto Heritage, 44, is charged with unlawful importation and possession of the same 4.8 tonnes of illicit drugs.

Louie Frank Logaivau, aged 22, faces charges of unlawful possession, dealing, and transporting 4.8 tonnes of methamphetamines. He is also charged with possessing cash amounting to FJD112.25 suspected to be proceeds of crime.

Issac Lesiyanawai, 40, Ratu Aporosa Davelevu, 44, Sakiusa Tuva, 30, Iosefo Roqica, 29, Maika Yabakivou, 27, and Ratu Osea Levula, 30, Cathy Tuirabe, 31, and Nancy Mateyawa, 29 are all charged with unlawful possession of 4.8 tonnes of methamphetamines.

Jale Aukerea, 42, face charges related to unlawful possession of 1.1 tonnes of methamphetamines. Aukerea also face charges of possessing FJD 2100.85 in cash suspected to be proceeds of crime.

Keanie Mcpherson, 29, is charged with the unlawful possession of 1.1 tonnes of methamphetamines.

These individuals were brought before the Nadi Magistrates’ Court today to answer to the charges. The case is likely to be transferred to high court
