Fiji’s Tertiary Scholarship and Loans Service (TSLS) has extended the deadline for new registrations for another week, ending midnight Sunday 27 March, to cater for students who have yet to register.
In a statement, the TSLS advises applicants to register first on its online application portal before uploading their year 13 results as well as offer letters from their choice of higher education institution.
The initial deadline was set for Sunday 20 March, three days after the Ministry of Education released results for year 13 students.
To date, TSLS has registered 7528 applicants who have also been advised that if they have not already done so to upload their final offer letters as well no later than 1 April.
Once uploaded, TSLS will then release applicants’ offer letter, bond letter (scholarship), and load agreement (TELS) which they will be required to fill and upload. The TSLS says the sooner this is done, the sooner confirmation letters for scholarships will be released to allow students to begin their studies. TSLS’ customer service is open from 8 am to 5 pm from Monday to Sunday until 1 April.
