The case, involving the murder of 25-year-old Kitiana Baravilala allegedly by her 27-year-old husband, Apisai Madigibuli, has been adjourned to May 14, to be heard at the Suva High Court.
Madigibuli, denied bail by the Magistrates Court in Suva, will seek Legal Aid assistance.
Madigibuli is accused of murdering his wife Kiti at an apartment complex in Suva.
The matter was transferred to the High Court due to its categorisation as an indictable offence under Section 191 of the Criminal Procedures Act.
