Rauluni Retains Core of Semi Lineup for Super W Finale

The Rooster Chicken Fijian Drua Women have announced their starting lineup for the Buildcorp Super Rugby Women’s Grand Final against Waratahs, making only one change  from the semi-final starting line-up.

Bitila Tawake joins the starting XV at tighthead prop, replacing Ana Korovata. The rest of the squad remains unchanged.

The team will be led by captain Karalaini Naisewa at number 8, with Setaita Railumu at halfback and Jeniffer Ravutia at flyhalf. Atelaite Buna, who has scored six tries from three games this season, starts at fullback.

Coach Mosese Rauluni, formerly Assistant Coach of the Queensland Reds, prepares his team to face the Waratahs at Ballymore Stadium in Brisbane. The game kicks off at 4pm.

The final will be the second time the two sides will be playing each other this season, with the Waratahs winning their previous encounter 62-21 in Lautoka last month. The match Sunday will also be the second time the two team go head-to-head in the Super W finale. The two sides played in the 2022 grand final, where the Drua displaced the Tahs 32-26. Come Sunday, the Drua will be looking for their third win in a row, and the Tahs, their fifth Super W title.
