Rauluni Keen to Tap Into Rural Talent for Fijian Drua Duties

Fijian Drua women’s coach Mosese Rauluni hopes to visit rural Fiji to scout what he says is immense talent.

In an interview, Rauluni said that with the rise in women taking up the sport professionally, there would be untapped potential around Fiji.

“When I was given this job, one of the first things I shared was the need to travel to the rural areas, the islands to scout for talent.”

“There is no doubt the amount of girls who are out there raring to go. So we need to give everyone a fair chance.”

Rauluni said the girls were already giving their all at training.

“I’m pleased with their progress so far. These girls mean business. We want to retain the title this year.”
