Families of the officers of the Fiji Police Force were today thanked and acknowledged for the role they played in supporting their loved ones.
Speaking at the Remembrance day in Labasa this morning, Commissioner North Uraia Rainima said that many times the sacrifice the families made for their fathers and mothers, sisters and brothers in the Police Force went unnoticed.
“I thank you for folding the fort while your police officers are out serving. We salute you also today and thank you.”
The dawn memorial service was held at the Labasa Police station grounds led by the Divisional Police Commander Northern SSP Tomasi Bulamaibau.
