Four men who were arrested by police in Nausori last week over an attempted home invasion in Vuci Road are due in court again today.
The four include Vonivate Radrekusa, aged 37 years of Waituri, 40-year-old Eparama Mani of Tamavua-I-Wai, 37-year-old Jone Any of Wairua Settlement and 42-year-old Semi Nate of Tacirua appeared before a magistrate court in Naysori yesterday charged with one count each of conspiracy, criminal trespass and going equipped for theft of a property offence.
They were remanded in custody as police prosecution ponder over the conspiracy charge.
“The Police Prosecution was given time by Magistrate Shageeth Somaratne to reconsider the conspiracy charge and discuss the matter further with the DPP.”
