Hansel McCaig and Kelera Mudunasoko return to Fiji from the Aquatics World Championship in Doha, Qatar after good swims against the world’s best.
McCaig swam a time of 23.20 in the 50m race, a few seconds slower than that of his gold medal swim at the Pacific Games last year.
Mudunasoko swam 2.24 in the 200m breaststroke placing 28th in the ranking yet equaling a best time she had achieved earlier last year.
The duo will now prepare for another Olympic qualifying competition in a few weeks.
