Melbourne Storm work with Fijian Drua

NRL Club Melbourne Storm will use the Fijian Drua facility in Nadi this week as they prepare for their match against New Castle Kinghts in Lautoka on Saturday.

This is after the two sides made an agreement earlier to help each other out with the Fijian Drua using their facilities in preparation for their game last week against the Melbourne Rebels.

“Storm will utilise Drua’s gym, team meeting rooms and training field ahead of their second trial of pre-season and a historic clash against the Newcastle Knights.”

“The two clubs have shared a strong relationship in recent years, with Fijian Drua Coach Mick Byrne spending time with Storm last year in the lead up to a blockbuster clash against the Penrith Panthers at Marvel Stadium.”

Former Storm CEO Mark Evans (2013-2015) is now the Chief Executive Officer at Fijian Drua.
