Massive Meth Stash Seized in Namaka House Raid

Fijian authorities have begun investigations into the discovery and subsequent confiscation of over three tons of methamphetamine from a vacant house in Namaka deemed as one of their “biggest seizures ever.”

Police was alerted via a tip-off, and upon arriving at the scene found meth stored in 797 medium-sized containers wrapped in brown tapes.

Among other leads, authorities are also looking into ownership of the vacant house.

Acting Commissioner Juki Fong Chew highlighted the significance of this major seizure as a warning to drug traffickers adding that such raids will continue in efforts to combat drug influx.
