Fiji 7s playmaker Sireli Maqala has been named in Ben Gollings’ 13-man squad for the Rugby World Cup in South Africa next week.
Maqala played for the Fiji 7s side at the recent Commonwealth Games but missed out on the LA 7s due to club commitments.
The inclusion of Maqala saw Taveuni duo Iowane Teba and Manueli Maisamoa missing out on the selection.
Head Coach Ben Gollings has retained the core of his 7s squad that includes; Jerry Tuwai, Josua Vakurinabuli, Moceinacagi, Nacuqu, Canakaivata, Talacolo, Rasaku and Suguturaga.
Also making the cut is Filipe Bukayaro, Vuiviwa Nadulavo, Iosefo Masi and Jerry Matana.
The Rugby World Cup 7s tournament is scheduled to start next Friday.
