A 56-year-old man has been charged with three counts of indecent assault, accused of offering a young girl sweets and money before allegedly assaulting her.
According to police, the accused and victim live in the same settlement. The incidents took place during bus rides in 2020, 2021, and 2022 when the victim was in primary school.
The matter was reported to the Lami Police Station.
The accused will appear in a magistrates court in Suva today.
