All general outpatient services at Labasa Hospital has been directed to the Nasea Health Center from today to keep emergencies and deliveries at the main hospital.
Labasa Hospital is the country’s third isolation facility for COVID-19 cases two confirmed cases and one suspected cases already present there.
A governemnt statement sent out late on Sunday April 5 advised the members of the public in the greater Labasa area to visit Nasea Health centre “for common ailments”.
Visiting hours at the Labasa hospital has been reduced to only 11am to 12pm daily with only one visitor per non-COVID-19 related patient.
This arrangement will be reviewed constantly.
