A number of roads have been closed due to flooding in the West and as such the Fiji Roads Authority is advising motorists to drive with caution.
Extensive flooding in the division is caused by heavy rain experienced around the country which is expected to continue to affect Fiji until later today as a result of a low-pressure system that is slow-moving over Fiji.
“If the roadway has been flooded, please take alternative routes where possible. Please keep a safe following distance, avoid speeding, and drive with extra care, especially when driving on unsealed roads,” the FRA said in a statement.
