Vodafone Fiji has signed on as sponsors of the Flying Fijians for the World Rugby Pacific Nations Cup that starts next month in Fiji.
The Flying Fijians are set to face Tonga, Australia A and Samoa over three match days on 2, 9 and 16 July in Suva and Lautoka.
Fiji Rugby Union CEO John O’Connor said, “We are thankful to Vodafone for their steadfast support and we are also extremely grateful to the team at Vodafone Fiji for their loyalty and ongoing trust through sponsoring the Flying Fijians for the Pacific Nations Cup”.
As part of the sponsorship, the Flying Fijians will be known as the Vodafone Flying Fijians during the period of PNC and will take up the front of the Flying Fijians jersey.
Vodafone Fiji Chief Marketing Officer Rajnesh Prasad said “Vodafone Fiji is happy to be back to support the Flying Fijians team. Vodafone has committed to supporting the sport through our partnership with FRU over two decades. As we get close to celebrating Vodafone’s 28th birthday, our commitment adds to the celebrations in bringing cheers to the Fijian household with the coming matches.”
