Fiji Rugby received a three year sponsorship agreement which boost to its Coca Cola Amatil Fiji (CCAF) will continue its commitment to the Fiji Rugby Union under a three-year partnership agreement that was announced today.
General Manager of Coca Cola Amatil Fiji Roger Hare said the partnership is an opportunity to give back to the community and support Fiji rugby.
Hare said the company is passionate about supporting the teams to prepare and attain high-level performance of rugby both at local and international tournaments.
“There is so much pride in Fijian rugby throughout our communities, country and the world, we want to be able to play our part off the field to ensure our rugby players get every opportunity to play their best on the field through proper hydration and give them the best chance at success,” Hare said in a CCAF statement.
Also Fiji Rugby Union Chief Executive Officer John O’Connor said the energy powered drinks and products will assist with the player’s training and strength for high performance.
Beverages will be supplied during key local tournaments like the Skipper Cup, Vanua Championship and test matches abroad.
At the announcement CCAF Marketing Manger Lawrence Tikaram said the partnership also provides an opportunity to interact with Fiji Rugby.
“From a sponsors’ perspective it’s about creating moments of happiness with the brand. The two brands are very synonymous, both iconic and together will work and develop the next world cup and beyond,” Tikaram said.
