Election officials must remain honest at all times and ensure that all procedures prescribed by the Fijian Election are followed to the letter, Supervisor of Elections Mohammed Saneem reminded trainees at the launch of the first elections training today as part of preparations towards Fiji’s 2022 General Elections.

Welcoming attendees to the Suva-based training, Saneem said that election officials determine the credibility of each election.

“It is important that you ensure that you carry out your roles diligently and in a manner that is not only done – but is seen by the members of the public to have been done right,”Saneem said.
