Statement expected to be released that Ministers are not covered by the Employment Act and that Radrodro will be deemed to be wilfully trespassing if he attempts to access the Education Ministry on Monday.
This is after the SODELPA board instructed Radrodro to remain as Education Minister until next Friday. SODELPA say natural justice was not followed and there was no prior warning or consultation.
Government sources say the PM had informed SODELPA party leader Viliame Gavoka of his concerns and the PM communicates with the party leader not the party.
As per letter sent to Radrodro from the PM, he was dismissed in accordance with section 95(3)(a) of the Constitution for insubordination and disobedience.
Ministers are covered under the Constitution, not the Employment Act and Government sources say the PM has indicated he will stand by his decision.
