As the countdown to Friday’s announcement of the final squad for the Paris Olympics begins, Fiji Airways Fijian 7s coach Osea Kolinisau has thanked the people of Fiji for their unwavering support and prayers.
Kolinisau acknowledged the critical role the nation’s encouragement has played in the team’s preparation.
“Vinaka valevu to you all for being with us and helping us mold and prepare the team,” he said.
The pools for the men’s sevens tournament have been set.
In Pool A, New Zealand will face Ireland, Japan, and South Africa. Pool B includes Argentina, Australia, Samoa, and Kenya. Pool C sees France, Fiji, USA, and Uruguay competing for a spot in the knockout rounds.
