The Fijian Elections Office (FEO) has begun the second round of verification of voter lists with community leaders, and village heads.
Director Operations Anaseini Senimoli says that the exercise is to ensure that at the time the election is called the voter list is as accurate as possible.
“In the meantime, the FEO is looking at conducting another round of Overseas Voter Registrations and more details on this will be announced in due course,” Senimoli said. The FEO is also planning to conduct a Nationwide Voter Registration Drive in August.
