A renowned marketing, branding and communications consultancy has included national carrier Fiji Airways in its latest publication called ‘SimpliFlying’.
At the launch of the book today in Nadi, Fiji Airways CEO Andre Viljoen says to be included in the publication is a remarkable achievement.
“Shashank is widely considered one of the most entertaining and original speakers on the future of aviation, marketing and sustainability.
His expertise in the aviation industry has been recognised by several prestigious organisations. He has also widely featured in publications such as The New York Times, CNN, and The Wall Street Journal.
“With each chapter dedicated to one airline, SOAR is based on revealing interviews with Senior Executives, managers and front-line staff. I am delighted at how fittingly Chapter One describes our collective journey to strategically elevate the National Airline. There is much to digest and so many insights that speak to our motivations, and the calculated steps we have taken to reach the heights of commercial aviation,” Viljoen added.
Minister for Finance and Strategic Planning, National Development and Statistics, Honourable Professor Biman Prasad officiated at the launch held at the Fiji Airways Aviation Academy in Nadi today.
“I am left with a deep sense of pride, admiration and joy at what Fiji Airways has been able to achieve, and what this means to Country Fiji. To have a respected and widely followed aviation branding and innovation consultant select Fiji Airways for a Special Edition speaks volumes about the hard work that has been put into the airline for close to a decade.”
Three editions of SOAR have been published across the world, including two special editions on SAUDIA and WestJet.
Fiji Airways is the THIRD Special Edition featuring in chapter one of the book. SOAR has been described as the definitive book on airline marketing & branding with more than 20,000 copies in circulation.
