Susie Waqanibaravi, a chartered accountant with over 10 years of senior leadership experience, including working with multi-jurisdictional teams, has been appointed to the Fiji National Provident Fund (FNPF) Board.
She replaces Mukhtar Ali, whose term on the FNPF Board has ended.
The Group Chief Financial Officer at Fijian Holdings Ltd (FHL) is the latest inclusion and the lone female on the 6-member FNPF board following on the reappointment of Daksesh Patel (Chairman) in January this year. The board also includes Attar Singh, Joe Taoi, Adish Naidu and Ministry of Finance PS Shri Gounder.
Waqanibaravi previously held the position of Director Finance Fiji and Group Shared Services at Neptune Pacific Agency. She also held senior positions at Natural Waters of Viti Pte Ltd and Munro Leys.
Waqanibaravi is a council member of the Fiji Institute of Chartered Accountants and serves on several boards. She was a fellow of the 2017 Resnick Aspen Action Forum, in Aspen Colorado, USA, and is a member of the Fiji Institute of Chartered Accountants (FICA).
Her appointment to the FNPF Board was effective from 1 March 2024.
