Fiji’s 2022 General Election will be held on Wednesday, 14 December.
This was confirmed via a brief statement posted on the Fijian Government’s Facebook page. The date was announced following a meeting between the PM, Voreqe Bainimarama and President Ratu Wiliame Katonivere this morning.
it is understood that they met at Government House.
The confirmation of election day also means that the parliament is dissolved, effective today.
