Police are investigating a report involving a woman who alleged she was sexually assaulted after waking up in the women’s dormitory of her workplace wearing different clothes and having visible marks on her body.
The 25-year-old told Fijian authorities that the night before the incident on Wednesday 24 August, she was with seven other co-workers drinking at a place near work, after which she left for the women’s dormitory to sleep.
The matter was reported to Police, with an official report lodged at the Totogo Police Station last night.
