Travelers into Fiji no longer need to book post-arrival COVID-19 tests, starting today, after the Fijian Government lifted compulsory post-arrival coronavirus testing.
Since resuming international flights last year, travellers including returning Fijian citizens were required to book a COVID-19 test, prior to boarding a flight to Fiji, and show proof of the booking as part of their boarding checks.
From today, they need not book a COVID-19 test, nor take a test unless they develop COVID-19 symptoms.
According to the Fijian Government, individuals arriving in Fiji would be asked to self-report on a single immigration arrival card.
A traveller who tests positive will be required to go into isolation for five days or up to seven if by the fifth day he or she is still displaying COVID-19 symptoms.
