Residents along the Suva to Nausori corridor have been reminded to store water for the weekend as supply in these areas will be disrupted beginning Friday 04th to Sunday 06th October.
Water Authority of Fiji says they will be carrying out planned works to allow essential connection to the new DN900mm Gravity Main from Waitolu Reservoir to the existing DN600mm DICL rising Main from the Waila Water Treatment Plant which supplies the Wainibuku Reservoir.
Residents are urged to start storing water for basic necessities during the 3 days.
Areas that will be affected include:
Nakasi, Davuilevu, Lokia, Koronivia, Kings Rd, Sasawira, Farm Rd, Wainibuku, Pilling Rd, Nepani, Nadawa, Tovata, Kinoya,Laucala Beach Estate, Jerusalem Rd, Vatuwaqa, Nabua, Wainivula, Gratham Road, Raiwasa, Raiwaqa, Raiwai and Flagstaff.
