Former Suva Grammar School student and Suva Rugby rep, Jeneiro Wakeham has signed a contract with the Ealing Trailfinders Rugby Club in West London.
Wakeham began his career overseas playing for the Stade Nicois side then joined Peniasi Dakuwaqa at Stade Francais Paris before making the move now to the London club.
The 6’10 Savusavu man who played for the Fiji Warriors side in 2020 said he was looking forward to joining the club and further developing his rugby skills.
“I’m excited about this move as I know my game will definitely be improved and developed playing with people who will impact my game.”
“The facilities and the coaching set up here is second to none which will only benefit me with my rugby. The club boys have made me feel welcome and I can’t wait to get started.”
The Club’s Director of Rugby Ben Ward described the Savusavu lad’s inclusion as a brilliant addition.
“Jeneiro is a brilliant addition to our pack. Size is a skill that you can’t teach and he obviously has that in abundance, and as a result, with time to settle in we’re hoping that he can turn into a real difference maker for us.”
