Vunivalu re-signs with Queensland and Australian Rugby

Queensland Reds’ flyer Suliasi Vunivalu has re-signed with the Australian Super Rugby Pacific franchise, keeping him within the Wallabies’ reach through 2023.

Vunivalu who made his debut for Queensland last season, scoring seven tries in his first 15 games, is poised to make his Test debut for the Wallabies after being recently selected in their squad for the upcoming England series.

In an article shared by the Reds’ Vunivalu said he was excited to have re-signed, a move that aligned with his decision to move to rugby last year so as to play for Australia in a Rugby World Cup event.

The 26-year-old Suva-born joined the Reds in 2021 from an exceptional rugby league career with the Melbourne Storm. He made his Super Rugby debut for the Reds against Rebels in February 2021.
