Mai TV’s Isoa Vuki took out three major awards at the Fiji Awards for Media Excellence (FAME) held in Suva on the weekend.
The senior TV producer scooped Overall TV journalist of the Year, Best Camerawork for TV/Video and Best TV Advertisement.
“I never expected to receive these awards because I know there are so many other capable people in the industry bu I am grateful for the recognition.”
Mai TV also took out the Most Innovative Storytelling (Digital) for extensive coverage of this year’s Coca Cola National Secondary School Athletics finals and the Sports Journalist of the Year award.
Other winners for the night included Anish Chand for Journalist of the Year and also taking out the Scoop of the Year for an indepth interview with the Commander of the Republic of Fiji Military Forces Ro Jone Kalouniwai.
