Fijian centre Virimi Vakatawa is in doubt for France’s Guinness Six Nations opening game against Italy.
Vakatawa limped off with a knee injury in Racing 92’s loss to Bordeaux Beagles over the weekend.
In an update on the tournament website, Vakatawa reportedly withdrew from the French squad training camp this week in Nice.
Lyon centre Pierre-Louis Barassi has been called to the squad to replace Vakatawa who is awaiting a knee scan to determine the extent of the injury.
