The University of Fiji and Dawn Energy Renewable (Fiji) Ltd today signed an MOU aimed to develop academic and educational cooperation and promote sustainable partnerships.
The MOU will facilitate student/industry attachments with remuneration, joint research activities, academic seminars, and programs, training, and collaboration opportunities.
Uni Fiji Vice-Chancellor Professor Shaishta Shameem thanked the CEO of Dawn Energy Renewable (Fiji) Ltd, Paul Huang, for a partnership that is beneficial for students and the country’s efforts to combat climate change.
Dawn Energy Renewable has previously supported the University with solar lighting and plans to invest more in solar energy.
Huang said the benefits of collaboration in renewable energy innovation and agricultural experimentation, envisioning a future where students play a key role in the renewable energy revolution.
