Travellers Urged to Organise Travel as Fiji Roads Closes Off Section of Namaqumaqua Road

The Fiji Roads Authority will be closing the road leading to Namaqumaqua village in Serua, for eight hours this Saturday, urging motorists and residents to organise travel plans to avoid disappointment.

Situated before Naboutini, off the Queens Road, the Namaqumaqua junction will be closed between 9am and 5pm.

New culverts are being placed along the road, the FRA says.

“During this period, public transportation services, including bus services and hotel transports, will cease operations along this route. However, they will be allowed to continue their services up to the section of the road that is unaffected by the roadwork.”
