World renown spiritual leader Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, founder of the Art of Living Foundation will be in Fiji to visit devotees and followers and hold talks with various leaders around the country.
Speaking to the media today, Chairman of Art of Living Fiji Hari Punja said Gurudev will be conducting spiritual talks centering on peace.
“Gurudev will be in Fiji to share his profound message of peace, well-being, an service to humanity. His teachings have touched millions worldwide, inspiring them to live with compassion, mindfulness, and a sense of community.”
While in Fiji, Gurudev will be hosted to a lunch by His Excellency President Wiliame Katonivere at the State House, attend a special Diwali celebration at Churchill Park in Lautoka and an inter faith concert amongst other significant events.
“On Monday 28th October, Gurudev will lead a program on promoting mental health in the work place and the community, followed by a pledge to say no to drugs, supporting a healthier society.”
‘As an ambassador of peace, Gurudev has played a key role in conflict resolution around the world as he shares his vision of non-violence at public forums and gatherings worldwide for free.’
