Fiji’s main opposition party Social Democratic Party today signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Unity Fiji Party in Suva.
In a joint press conference, SODELPA Leader, Viliame Gavoka says both parties support similar policies and fundamentally uplift the lives of the people of Fiji
“SODELPA is pleased with the Unity Fiji Party going forward because we a lot of commonalities, we possess moderate political values and above identified as liberal democrats on the political spectrum,” Gavoka said.
Unity Party Leader, Savenaca Narube said partnering with an experienced party like SODELPA is a no-brainer and this year’s election is going to be different.
“This election is going to be different from 2014 and 2018, almost everywhere we go, people are calling for change and I think this MOU fulfills the people’s desires”
