Robbery Spree Suspects Face Court

Fiji Police have arrested two men accused of a series of robberies in the Northern and Eastern Divisions.

The two suspects, aged 40 and 28, were intercepted while traveling to Nabouwalu.

A joint CID task force, led by SSP Loraini Seru, gathered information on their involvement in Labasa, Nakasi, and Nausori robberies.

A raid at the home of the first accused in Vunivau, Labasa, uncovered stolen items.The 40-year-old faces charges for four counts of aggravated burglary and four counts of theft and is set to appear at the Labasa Magistrates Court today.

Meanwhile, the 28-year-old will be appearing at the Nausori Magistrates Court today, charged with four counts of burglary and four counts of theft for the Nausori cases, and two counts of burglary and two counts of theft for the Nakasi cases.
