The Reserve Bank of Fiji has revoked the license of Unimoni Pte Limited, preventing it from functioning as a restricted foreign exchange dealer.
This action was taken as Unimoni decided to exit from the Fiji market after an 18-year presence.
Consequently, they are no longer permitted to conduct various transactions, including dealing in traveler’s cheques and foreign currency, remitting Fiji currency notes, issuing bank drafts, and using electronic transfers.
RBF advises the public against engaging in transactions with unlicensed entities, as per the RBF’s warning.
Unimoni began operating in Fiji in 2005.
