Fiji Police’s investigation team is conducting tests on bones, believed to be human remains, discovered by a worker at the Kinoya Sewage Treatment Plant.
The tests will determine whether the bones found yesterday are indeed human, and further details about the condition of the remains and the potential duration they have been at the sewage treatment plant are currently unavailable.
Fiji Police said: “The CSI team once completing their tests and necessary analysis will then be able to determine more about the remains. It will also need to be scientifically proven that it is a human bone.”
Investigations are ongoing.
