Four police officers are currently in the hospital after their vehicle overturned in Saweni this morning.
The officers were travelling in a police vehicle, heading towards Lautoka, when the driver reportedly lost control causing the car to tumble.
Acting Commissioner of Police Juki Fong Chew has directed an investigation into the circumstances of the incident, stating that disciplinary action will be taken if any breach of road laws or misuse of authority is found.
The four officers are being monitored at Lautoka Aspen Hospital, where they remain under observation.
