Police have charged one of their own in relation to a hit and run incident that critically injured a 23-year-old man in Suva over the weekend.
He will appear before a magistrates court in Suva today, charged with one count of dangerous driving occasioning actual bodily harm and one count of failing to comply with requirements following an accident.
The victim remains in critical condition at the Colonial War Memorial Hospital.
The incident happened over the weekend along Milverton Road.
