Quick response from Nausori Police resulted in the arrest of a man in his 20s for an alleged case of attempted robbery, authorities say.
“Before 1am this morning, a report was received of a man seen to have entered a compound opposite a supermarket complex in Nausori.
“Officers were deployed to the scene and they found the suspect and took him into custody.”
Chief Operations Officer ACP Abdul Khan acknowledged the sharing of information, resulting in the quick arrest.
Crime prevention, he says, is everyone’s responsibility, and speaking up leads to reduced crimes together by showing a united front against all forms of illegal activities.
